Strong and tough dual-enhanced nanocrystalline for aero-engine bearings won the first prize Hay:A02SDXW

A few days ago, SDXW Special Steel Technology Corporation issued an announcement that the "Basic Research on Core Technology of Micro-Nanocrystalline Manufacturing of New Materials for Aero-Engine Bearings with Strong and Tough Double Enhancement" jointly undertaken by SDXW and Beijing University of Science and Technology, the core technology was also honored as China's invention, entrepreneurship and innovation. The first prize marks a new breakthrough in the research and development of high-tech products and new technologies of the company.

SDXW deepened the strategic cooperation with the Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, rapidly transformed the scientific research results of the Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and jointly developed high-tech products such as new materials for large-scale bearing steel for major equipment, and high-purity iron-based new materials for high-purity dual-vacuum stainless bearing steel. It has carried out industry-university-research cooperation with Beijing University of Science and Technology, Shanghai University and other institutions, and jointly undertaken major provincial science and technology projects, with fruitful results.

In the second half of this year, SDXW and the Institute of Metal Research of the Chinese Academy of Sciences jointly undertake the research and development project of new materials for large-scale bearing steel for major equipment. Trial supply of 1,000 tons in institutes and high-end markets, and strategic cooperation with domestic high-end customers;


The research and development of high-purity iron-based new materials for high-purity double-vacuum stainless bearing steel, and key indicators such as ultra-low titanium, ultra-low phosphorus, and ultra-low sulfur of the new materials, have caught up with imported materials;


The national standard "Alloy Steel Rods for Deep-sea Oilfield Drilling" formulated by SDXW was approved and released, and 6 new special steel materials in the marine engineering field in the standard began to be industrialized, contributing to the localization of national high-end equipment materials.


SDXW and the Institute of Metal Research of the Chinese Academy of Sciences jointly developed ultra-pure large-scale high-end rare earth special steel, forming eight new material series of high-end rare earth special steel, and obtained 116 national authorized patents.

At present, SDXW and the Institute of Metal Research of the Chinese Academy of Sciences are jointly promoting the scientific research projects of "Research and Development of Purified Medium Carbon Steel Bearing Die Casting and Forging Billet" and "Industrialization of High-Quality Rare Earth Steel", and cooperate with Beijing University of Science and Technology, Shanghai University, downstream strategic customers and other universities, Enterprises carry out industry-university-research cooperation projects, and new breakthroughs have been made in the research and development of many high-tech products and new technologies.
