On July 2, 2022, the second phase of the XMHT Silicon Carbide Industrial Park project has successfully started commercial production. The project mainly builds a 6-inch silicon carbide epitaxial wafer production line plant and supporting facilities, with an annual production capacity of 200,000 wafers.
At the completion ceremony held on July 2, the high-quality 6-inch silicon carbide epitaxial wafer produced by XMHT was unveiled. The company's products are mainly supplied to new energy vehicles, photovoltaics and other fields.
End customers include Tesla,NIO,etc.
The first-phase project of XMHT Silicon Carbide Industrial Park will be put into operation at the end of 2019, the second-phase project will start in 2020, and pass the completion acceptance on March 31, 2022. At present, the XMHT Silicon Carbide Industrial Park project has installed 28 production lines, and it is expected to increase to 50 production lines by the end of the year. In 2022, it is expected to sell about 110,000 6-inch silicon carbide epitaxial wafer products.
It is reported that the third-phase project of XMHT Silicon Carbide Industrial Park will start construction within this year, and the production capacity of the third-phase project will reach 1.4 million pieces.
