At that time, the super-thick and super-thick copper-nickel alloy pipes for ships were difficult to process and high added value. At present, there were no manufacturers in China that could produce them, and only South Korea could produce them in the world.
Because the product size is too large and too wide, reducing friction and controlling the extrusion speed are the keys to solving the problem. GSJC technicians have used hollow ingot extrusion technology through many tests to effectively reduce the tension on the perforating needle during the extrusion process, and reasonably control the extrusion speed to ensure the normal extrusion of the product.

In 2020, GSJC produced a total of more than 1,600 tons of finished pipes of cupronickel series products of copper-nickel alloy, of which 20% were exported to France, Italy, Europe and the United States and other countries. Other finished pipes are widely used in marine engineering, seawater desalination and shipbuilding industries.
