Controlled iontophoresis technology developed in China outperforms Melonite® -QPQ® Hay:F01HNHM

In the 1970s, Degussa developed the QPQ salt bath composite treatment technology, which can enhance the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of metal surfaces, and was described as a revolutionary technological breakthrough by the global industry.

Melonite® (also called Tenifer® or Tufftride®) case hardening involves a QPQ® diffusion process that creates a highly uniform and stable surface that's significantly harder than untreated iron or steel. Thus, parts, components, and equipment treated with this form of nitrocarburizing (also called liquid nitriding) are far more resistant to normal wear and tear, even under the harshest conditions.

Melonite® processing produces a hardened, corrosion-resistant surface that will out-perform metal plating (hard chrome, zinc, or nickel), gas nitriding, Parkerizing®, and black oxide or bluing.

After years of technical accumulation and innovation, China Metal Surface Treatment Technology Corporation: HNHM Surface Treatment Technology Corporation's technology in this field has surpassed the technical level of Germany's Degussa and is in an international leading position.

The controlled ion infiltration technology developed by HNHM is a new process in metal surface treatment, which can greatly enhance the corrosion resistance and wear resistance of metals.

Controllable ion infiltration technology is widely used in equipment manufacturing fields such as construction machinery, automobiles, petroleum equipment, high-speed rail, etc., which greatly improves the performance of key components and promotes the upgrading of the equipment manufacturing industry. Environmentally friendly features, will replace the traditional chrome plating technology.

The infiltration depth of the controllable ion infiltration technology can reach 60 μm, and the current international highest level is about 40 μm.

In Sany Heavy Industry, neutral salt spray test was carried out on parts treated with controlled ion infiltration technology, and the test time was as long as 912 hours;

The effect of Zoomlion's experiment for 300 hours has exceeded the customer's expectation.

The piston rod developed by HNHM using controllable ion penetration technology has been supplied to the world's largest agricultural machinery enterprise – John Deere Company.
