On August 8, 2022, the Dalian Economic and Technological Development Zone Management Committee and GDWC Precision Die Casting Technology Corporation held a signing ceremony in Dalian for the construction of the Wenxin Energy Auto Parts Project.
According to reports, the land area of the project is about 85,000 square meters, and the total investment is about 130 million US dollars. The project mainly produces aluminum alloy casting parts including new energy vehicle braking system, steering system, chassis system, turbocharger system and other products.
The new project introduces a super-large integrated aluminum alloy high-pressure die-casting production line.
It is understood that GDWC completed the acquisition of the European aluminum alloy precision casting parts giant – the French BL Group in 2018, officially opening the global layout.
BL Group is mainly engaged in the research and development, production and sales of precision aluminum alloy castings. Its core products include precision aluminum alloy castings in the fields of automotive braking systems, air intake systems, chassis and body structural parts. The company has 12 manufacturing bases around the world. .
After the acquisition of the French BL Group, the company's global layout will gradually take shape, and now it has received orders for high-pressure die-casting products from North American customers. At present, the company has begun to introduce a high-pressure die-casting production line in the Mexican plant of the French BL Group, and also plans to introduce a super-large integrated high-pressure die-casting production line in the French BL Group's Hungary plant next year.
