Ultra-thin stainless steel foil is widely used in aerospace, national defense, medical equipment, petrochemical, precision instruments and other fields. Because of the difficulty of process control and high product quality requirements, its core manufacturing technology has always been in the hands of some developed countries.

 

It took SXTG two full years to overcome more than 170 equipment problems and more than 450 process problems after 711 tests, and only found a kind of ultra-thin stainless steel foil from the arrangement and combination of more than 40,000 rolls. The production process has successfully produced stainless steel precision foils with a thickness of 0.02 mm and a width of 600 mm. Therefore, SXTG has become the only company in the world that can mass produce wide ultra-thin stainless steel precision foils.

 

At the end of July this year, after using 0.02mm stainless steel foil products, some customers hope that SXTG can develop a special stainless steel precision foil for new energy vehicle batteries with a thickness of 0.015mm and a width of 400mm or more.

 

On the morning of August 16, the 0.015mm stainless steel precision foil was successfully rolled. The actual thickness of the coil is 0.015mm, and the actual width is 600mm, breaking through the equipment design limit size of 0.02x600mm. The coil is sent to the user for testing after cleaning, heat treatment and finishing and slitting.
