1. Continuous long fiber

Product features: The most common product form of carbon fiber manufacturers. Bundles are composed of thousands of monofilaments. They are divided into three types according to the twisting method: NT (Never Twisted, untwisted), UT (Untwisted, untwisted), TT or ST (Twisted, twisted), NT is the most commonly used carbon fiber. For twisted carbon fiber, according to the twist direction, it can be divided into S twisted yarn and Z twisted yarn (as shown in the figure below).

Typical applications: thermal insulation materials, anti-friction materials, C / C composite parts, etc.

3. Carbon fiber fabric

Product features: Continuous carbon fiber or carbon fiber short yarn is woven. According to the weaving method, carbon fiber fabric can be divided into woven fabric, knitted fabric and non-woven fabric. Currently, carbon fiber fabric is usually woven fabric.

Typical applications: Same as continuous carbon fiber, mainly used for composite materials such as CFRP, CFRTP or C / C composite materials. Applications include aircraft / aerospace equipment, sporting goods and industrial equipment parts.

4. Carbon fiber braid

Product characteristics: It belongs to a kind of carbon fiber fabric, which is also woven from continuous carbon fiber or carbon fiber short yarn.

Typical applications: mainly used for resin-based reinforced materials, especially suitable for the production and processing of tubular products.

5. Short-cut carbon fiber

Cut according to customer needs.

6. Grinding carbon fiber

Typical applications: similar to chopped carbon fiber, but rarely used in the field of cement reinforcement; usually used as a mixture of plastics, resins, rubbers, etc. to improve the mechanical properties, wear resistance, electrical conductivity and heat resistance of the matrix.

7. Carbon fiber felt

Product features: The main form is felt or mat. First, short fibers are layered by mechanical carding and other methods, and then prepared by needle punching; also known as carbon fiber nonwoven fabric, which belongs to a type of carbon fiber braid.

Typical applications: thermal insulation materials, molded thermal insulation material base materials, heat-resistant protective layers and corrosion-resistant base materials

8. Carbon fiber paper

Product characteristics: It is made of carbon fiber as raw material and is made by dry or wet papermaking process.

9. Carbon fiber prepreg
