3DGence launches new dual extruder DOUBLE P255 3D printer

Polish 3D printer manufacturer 3DGence has launched its latest dual extruder 3D printer DOUBLE P255. The new 3D printer is based on the original DOUBLE 3D printer released in early 2018. It has many features and is worthy of reference.

3DGence is headquartered in the Department of Machinery and Technology of Silesian University of Technology and entered the market three years ago with its flagship 3D printer 3DGence ONE.

Filip Turzyński, 3DGence Quality Development Manager, said, "One of the main design goals of 3DGence DOUBLE P255 is to create a reliable multifunctional device. We have introduced some improvements to reduce the difficulty of using the printer. Longer continuous operation optimizes the thermal design. User involvement in the calibration process has been minimized. "

According to the company, 3DGence DOUBLE P255 is a professional device designed to create high-quality 3D prints with advanced geometry. It has a casing to ensure a stable temperature, and it can maintain the temperature stability during 3D printing to improve the dimensional accuracy and quality of printing. In addition, the device has a new interchangeable hot end and an optimized cooling system.

3DGence DOUBLE P255 has a working area of 190 x 255 x 195 mm. It is a dual extruder 3D printer that can use two different materials, model materials and support materials (including water-soluble BVOH).

3DGence DOUBLE P255 has a recommended and open material base. Currently, 3DGence Slicer software offers ready-made material combinations: PLA BVOH, PET BVOH, PP HIPS, NYLON HIPS, Smart ABS HIPS. The device can also be printed with the flexible Fiberflex 40D. 3DGence DOUBLE P255 has a wire end sensor and will stop the print job if a missing material is detected. It is also equipped with a control system for supervising material flow, and a measurement system for monitoring the quality of each 3D printed extrusion.

The new 3DGence DOUBLE P255 includes a quick-change hot-end system supported by the patented PUSH system, automatic calibration, dedicated electronics and stepper motor control. The 3D printer's easy-to-replace ceramic construction platform ensures good first-layer adhesion and easily removes the model after 3D printing is complete.

3DGence DOUBLE P255 has obtained the German TüV Rheinland certificate, which according to the company has confirmed "the repeatability and production quality and safety of this equipment".

The new 3DGence DOUBLE P255 printer will be on display at Formnext in Frankfurt from November 13th to 16th, 2018.
