The production of calcium carbide utilizes the arc heat and resistance heat generated by three-phase electrodes to heat and react the materials in the furnace. During this process, the electrode “clamping” positioning and current transmission mainly rely on the electrode holder, and the copper tile component is the core component of the electrode holder.
The electrode holder for the 54000KVA large enclosed calcium carbide furnace is designed and manufactured by an overseas company, with core technologies patented by foreign companies.
GSJC has successfully applied refined 4N5 oxygen free copper to the manufacturing of electrode copper tiles in calcium carbide furnaces in collaboration with customers.
