Japan's Toshiba, Tohoku Electric Power and LPG giant Iwatani Industry Corporation announced that they have begun to study the construction of the world's largest hydrogen production plant in Fukushima Prefecture, and strive to complete it before the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics.
According to the concept, a hydrogen production device that produces fuel equivalent to 10,000 fuel cell vehicles annually will be constructed, and liquid hydrogen will be sold to hydrogen stations inside and outside the county, and used to adjust the power supply and demand balance.
