Global Leading plastic materials company PolyOne has announced the commerciality of SynPlast L9TM plasticizer, which is similar to 810TM linear plasticizer.
The new SynPlast can guarantee a stable supply of soft PVC to compensate for the interruption of the 810TM supply chain, and can be used for cable and automotive condensation PVC.
In the past, soft PVC manufacturers have relied heavily on 810TM to maintain product performance at high and low temperatures. So when there was a shortage of 810 ethanol in 2013, it directly led to tight global supply of 810TM plasticizers, prompting manufacturers to develop alternatives. After working with a leading cable PVC compounder, PolyOne's cross-functional synthetic ester team began developing alternatives.
The research and development result SynPlast L9TM was born, and the formula based on 9 linear alcohols reached the same performance as 810TM, but the supply was sufficient.

The vision and professionalism of the company's synthetic ester team, coupled with the flexibility of production, led to the development of L9TM in one go from development to production and transportation.
