Before SDDH developed high-performance alumina fibers, the international technology to produce such high-performance products was mastered by 3M in the United States and Mitsubishi Corporation of Japan, and China's demand for this material was all dependent on imports. SDDH fiber alumina fiber is manufactured using the most advanced "sol-gel" process in the world. The company has completely independent intellectual property rights for this technology. It is precisely with this "core technology" that SDDH has become the world's third The only enterprise in China that industrializes the production of high-performance alumina fibers.
In 2018, SDDH invested 800 million yuan to build a high-performance alumina fiber production base. The new production base will build 1,000 tons of high-performance alumina short fibers and their products and 100 tons of high-performance alumina long fiber series product lines. The production capacity of fiber products accounts for 7% of the total global production capacity. The first phase of the project has an investment of 180 million yuan and has started construction in September 2018. Two high-performance fiber production lines will be built to achieve an annual production capacity of 500 tons. After the project is put into production, it is expected to achieve an annual output value of 1.5 billion yuan and a profit and tax of 550 million yuan.
