After Unimin, TQC, the world’s third high-purity quartz sand supplier passed TEL, LAM, AMAT certification Hay:B04JSTP

High-purity quartz sand is highly in short supply in the photovoltaic field. JSTP Quartz Glass Technology Group is the third high-purity quartz sand supplier in the world and the only supplier in China.

The semiconductor business passed the verification of major manufacturers in batches

JSTP passed the TEL high temperature field certification at the beginning of the year, and is now doing TEL etching certification (there will be a result in the near future). At present, it has passed the certification of LAM, and has received mid-volume orders in late October. Some products have passed AMAT (Applicable Materials) certification. Toshiba/Hitachi High-tech/Hitachi International certification is currently also advancing, and the certification is expected to be completed in 21H1. Northern Huachuang/China Micro Semiconductor is in the experimental stage, and the certification progress of domestic equipment manufacturers is relatively fast.

In terms of capacity reserve, a 6,000-ton semiconductor electronic-grade project is expected to be put into production by the end of the year, and 18 lines will be completed by the end of next year. The production scale of at least 10 lines can be guaranteed, and at least 2,000 tons of output will be released. Bring 600-1.0 billion revenue scale.

The only three global suppliers of high purity quartz sand

At present, there are only three companies that can make high-purity quartz sand on a large scale in the world, the United States Unimin, Norway TQC, and JSTP, and there is no fourth company that can enter this industry.

Semiconductor business is expected to double revenue next year

At present, the electronic grade high-purity quartz sand business accounts for about 40% of the overall revenue, covering semiconductor/optical fiber/solar energy, accounting for about 30%/20%/50% respectively. 20Q1-Q3 semiconductor revenue increased by more than 10% year-on-year, and semiconductor revenue is expected to double in 21 years. It is planned that semiconductor business revenue will account for 50% of overall revenue by 2023.

The current international market for semiconductor quartz products is about 20 billion. Previously, it mainly relied on foreign supplies such as Momentive in the United States and Heraeus in Germany. JSTP's high-end semiconductor-grade quartz products have reached international standards.
