In the exhibition hall of CQXJ Advanced Glass Technology Corporation, Hay Think team witnessed a very unforgettable scene: Huawei Mate50 mobile phone equipped with the glass fell from a height of 4.2 meters several times, and the glass was undamaged.
This kind of shatterproof glass is: transparent nano crystalline glass. In the test of Swiss authority SGS, it obtained the world’s first five-star shatterproof certification, and is the world’s strongest electronic glass (i.e., the glass used as the cover plate of the electronic screen).
Break through the technical bottleneck of cover glass
The transparent nano crystalline glass used in Huawei Mate 50 series mobile phones, although only about half a millimeter thick, is the root cause of “unbreakable”.
“A piece of transparent nanocrystalline glass ceramics less than 7 inches, filled with billions of crystals.” Dr. Jiang, the chief scientist of CQXJ, introduced that crystals can block the propagation of cracks. When most of a piece of glass is nano crystal, there is no way to crack.
Dr. Jiang introduced that 90% of the electronic glass of the cover plate is deeply processed in China, but the developed countries in Europe and the United States hold the core technology of the electronic glass of the cover plate and occupy most of the global market share. Transparent nanocrystalline glass ceramics broke the technical blockade of foreign countries on China’s high-end electronic cover glass, and completely solved the key core technical problems of cover glass.
In addition, CQXJ launched a high-performance lithium aluminum silicon glass in 2020. Test data shows that its strength is 10% higher than that of lithium aluminum silicon glass released by foreign glass giants in 2020.
