APEX new pure electric sports car with carbon fiber cockpit

Following the launch of the AP-1 supercar, British sports car manufacturer APEX will launch a new pure electric supercar-AP-0 (tentative name) at the 2020 Geneva Motor Show, which will open on March 5 this year. It is reported that the new car will use pure carbon fiber cockpit, its curb weight is only 1200 kg.

According to currently known information, this model was conceived and built in the UK by a team of engineers led by former BMW, Vauxhall and Daewoo design Guy Colborne. At present, APEX has only released a preview of this brand-new model, and did not disclose detailed model information.

The previous AP-1 model weighed only 620 kg, but had 400 horsepower. According to Apex, the AP-0 pure electric supercar uses a pure carbon fiber cockpit, so the weight is much lower than most pure electric supercars.

Thanks to the excellent lightweight design, this new pure electric supercar has a broken time of less than 3 seconds and a maximum speed of 280km / h. In the future, it will compete with lightweight fuel vehicles such as Radical Rapture, KTM X-Bow and Ariel Atom.

APEX was founded by two engineers and racing enthusiasts who are engaged in motorsports technology. The APEX team has always focused on the concept of racing. The team is from the top automotive design personnel in the UK.
