Modified PC plastic

Modified PP plastic

PP plastic has strong electrical insulation and chemical resistance, and good fatigue resistance. It has the highest mechanical properties and heat resistance among general-purpose plastics, and it also has a price advantage.

Modified PP plastics are mainly used in the rear covers, trim panels and harness guides (PP-T20) of rear lights, the housings and rear covers of front lights, among which PP modified plastics account for the proportion of plastics in automotive lights. About 30%.

Modified PBT / PET plastic

PBT is generally used in the headlight trim and the bracket of the adjusting device in the headlight. PBT and ASA modified with glass fiber reinforcement can be used as the shell of the fog lamp. The mechanical properties are similar to PA and POM, with small friction coefficient, good self-lubrication, good thermal and chemical stability, excellent electrical insulation, high rigidity and hardness, good impact, high dimensional stability, and good heat resistance.

Modified PA plastic

The PA used in car lights is generally glass fiber reinforced nylon. The common screw adjustment or bracket in car lights uses PA6 GF or PA66 GF. Some important adjustment structures and internal brackets in car lights will also use some PA plus glass fiber modified materials.

Modified PMMA

PMMA, commonly known as acrylic or plexiglass, is a highly transparent amorphous thermoplastic material. PMMA has excellent optical properties, light transmittance of 90% -92%, refractive index of 1.49, good weather resistance, high surface hardness, and excellent comprehensive properties. It is mainly used as optical transparent products. Light guide materials for exterior light distribution mirrors and interior atmosphere lights.

Modified ABS, PC / ABS plastic

In the field of automotive lights, ABS is generally used after being modified with PC materials. The proportion of PC content in ABS is determined according to the different temperature and impact properties. ABS, PC / ABS are generally used in taillight housings and trim panels.
