Armacell, the global leader in flexible insulation technology and market, has announced the acquisition of Guarto, an Italian manufacturer of sound insulation solutions. Both parties agreed to keep the transaction price confidential.
Guarto was founded in 1966 and is dedicated to the design, production and sale of flame retardant thermoplastic materials for sound insulation. The company's products are mainly used in the marine and rail markets. The product also has applications in the automotive and construction fields.
Alles has a subsidiary in Italy, and this transaction strengthens Alles' position in Italy. The transaction includes Guarto's two production lines in Turin, Italy.
