Ascend High Performance Materials, a supplier of integrated polyamide (PA) 66, has signed an agreement with D'Ottavio Group to purchase its Poliblend and Esseti Plast GD product portfolio. The acquisition includes D'Ottavio Group's manufacturing plant in Mozzate, Italy, Esseti Plast GD's masterbatch portfolio and Poliblend's engineering plastics portfolio, which includes primary and recycled PA66, PA6, PBT and POM.

More importantly, it can help us provide customers with a wider range of high-performance, sustainable Product portfolio to meet growing demand. "Ascend President and CEO Phil McDivitt said.
Poliblend was established in 1999 to provide compounding and masterbatch services, including color masterbatches and additive masterbatches that improve the attractiveness and end-use performance of plastic products, packaging and fibers. The material has passed ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO TS 16949 certification.

Giancarlo D`Ottavio, President of Poliblend, will continue to be responsible for Poliblend`s business and join Ascend`s European management team. He said: "This is an exciting chapter for Poliblend.
