June 8, 2020—NIO Weilai Automobile, a leading brand of new energy vehicles, has adopted the seat cover of the BASF Haptex® solution for its ES6 model configuration upgrade. For the first time, BASF's innovative Haptex® polyurethane solution does not use organic solvents, effectively reducing VOC content and reducing odor, and improving the air quality in the car. In addition, the first-class touch created by BASF's Haptex® material makes the seats of the Luxe ES6 luxury models more luxurious.
