BASF and Maincal collaborate to launch South America’s first safety shoes made of Infinergy®

• Voran SportSafe aims to provide excellent feedback, comfort and durability

• BASF's Infinergy®, a high-performance feedback material used in the midsole of shoes

• Infinergy® makes its debut in the South American market through a partnership with Maincal

The new safety shoe series Voran SportSafe launched by Maincal enables safety shoe users to move and work comfortably. Infinergy® enhances Voran SportSafe safety shoes through excellent feedback speed, comfort and durability.

SportSafe Energy is designed for workers in the automotive, food, logistics industries and other challenging work areas that require long-term comfort. The design is versatile, allowing individuals to wear the same pair of shoes in the workplace and outside the workplace.

BASF's Elastopan® is also used in Ultragrip Sole technology, which provides greater adhesion and slip resistance on the most demanding surfaces. Ultralight® polyurethane is another feature used in this technology, which can bring greater comfort, durability and lightness to shoes.

In addition to the sporty look and feel, SportSafe is also equipped with an aluminum toe cap, which is 40% lighter than traditional steel. It has high visibility and reflectivity, so it provides additional safety features. The design of the sole is inspired by natural foot movement, which can provide greater stability while reducing fatigue.

Eight SportSafe safety shoes will be released in different colors, with textile and leather upper options. All of these will be available online and in the Maincal distributor network.
