On November 8, BASF announced that it plans to invest more than 200 million euros in the next five years for the expansion and operation of the global plastic additives business, of which nearly half will be used in Asia.
It is reported that the investment plans to expand plastic additive production capacity at BASF's North American and European production bases, and carry out the construction of automation, electronic technology and digital modeling. In addition, BASF plans to expand its plastic additive production network in Asia.
BASF's plastic additive products include: ultraviolet (UV) light stabilizers, antioxidants, process stabilizers and other additives.
