BASF raises paint prices, vanadate pigments and vanadate-based chemicals will increase by 15%

BASF announced that globally, prices of its vanadate pigments and vanadate-based chemicals will increase by 15%, effective June 25, 2018. The price increase is mainly for the coatings industry. BASF said that this price increase is reasonable due to the apparent rise in raw material prices.

It is reported that the first successful development and production of bismuth vanadate by BASF in Germany marked the birth of a new generation of environmentally friendly materials. Bismuth vanadate is an inorganic chemical that does not contain heavy metal elements that are harmful to the human body. It is an environmentally friendly and low-carbon metal oxide.
