With the support of the advanced manufacturing field of the National 863 Program, breakthroughs have been made in the high-quality and high-efficiency processing technology of China's weak rigid composite materials, and domestic ultrasonic cutting equipment has been successfully applied in China's aerospace field. Recently, the high-tech center of the Ministry of Science and Technology organized an acceptance expert group to conduct technical acceptance of the 863 Program "Key Technologies and Equipment for Ultrasonic Cutting of Weak Stiffness Composite Materials".

Ultrasonic cutting technology uses high-frequency vibration tools to process materials. It has the advantages of low cutting force, high processing quality and high processing efficiency, and is especially suitable for processing of materials with weak stiffness. Under the key support of the National 863 Plan, led by Jiangxi Changhe Aviation Industry Co., Ltd., in cooperation with Dalian University of Technology, Shaanxi Qinchuan Machine Tool and other advantageous units, cooperated in technical research, successfully developed the first domestic honeycomb core ultrasonic cutting special equipment, and developed A series of special tools for ultrasonic cutting of honeycomb cores and a database of ultrasonic cutting processes were established, and an ultrasonic cutting technology system with independent intellectual property rights was formed. The application verification of ultrasonic cutting of typical components of composite honeycomb cores of helicopters and large passenger aircraft was carried out, which greatly improved the processing quality and processing efficiency, and realized the application of China's ultrasonic cutting technology and equipment in aviation manufacturing enterprises. The successful application of the research results indicates that China has mastered the honeycomb core ultrasonic cutting technology, which is of great significance to promote the development of China's advanced manufacturing technology and promote the application of honeycomb core components in the aerospace field.
