BRM company develops advanced textile products: electronic webbing and TPCM thermoplastic material series products to enhance the functionality and practicality of parts

American fabric design, development and manufacturing company Bally (BRM) announced the launch of its advanced fabric products: electronic webbing and TPCM thermoplastic material series products, further improving the functionality and practicality of components. These two products have low weight, high strength, durability, stability, wear resistance and sustainability. The company stated that these materials are suitable for preforms of "all types of composite manufacturing processes."

Electronic webbing is a conductive narrow fabric that can transmit data signals, such as light, noise, vibration, heat, etc., by electronic transmission, and can also store energy or drive objects. Conductive fibers can be woven with other types of fibers, and can be used as embedded sensors in wearable devices and various integrated technologies (including the Industrial Internet of Things).

TPCM thermoplastic composites are 2D or 3D woven thermoplastic structures that can be used to produce composite parts through continuously upgraded molding processes. Woven fabric structure shapes can be used in hybrid composite structures in many industries, including aerospace, automotive, defense and military, infrastructure, marine, and sports/recreation.
