The business groups of composite include fine chemical and carbon fiber composites. There are 5 product sites: Nantou, Shanghai, Tianjin, Jiangsu and Malaysia.
One of the main product lines of fine chemical are Vinyl ester resin, vacuum infusion epoxy resin, carbon fiber prepreg epoxy resin for anti-corrosion tank and pipe for factories, desulfurization tank, and chimney for power plants; the other one is epoxy resin and hardener for wind turbine blade. All products have been supplying to over thirty countries and SHSW brand has become a well-known identification in chemical industry worldwide. We have been developing our own technology and able to provide tailor-made products and services to enhance customers' competitiveness. In carbon fiber composite business, SHSW cooperates with FSA Group and formed a joined venture company "SHSW (Jiangsu) Carbon Fiber Composite" to provide light weight composite for automobile, wind turbine blade and sport gears.
SHSW Renewable, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SHSW, has been engaged in offshore wind power business since 2013. Phase I (8MW) Taiwan's first offshore wind farm, is already in commercial operation. Phase II (120MW) will be delivered in 2019. Phase II with 376MW installed capacity is expected to be completed by 2020. The total installation capacity of Phase III is 2,000MW.
