At the Chinaplas 2018, Celanese introduced two new low-emission, low-odor products-Hostaform XLE POM (co-formaldehyde) and Celstran XLE LFRT (long fiber reinforced thermoplastic).
Ultra-low emission Hostaform XLE POM (co-formaldehyde): greatly reduces odor and formaldehyde emission. Compared with conventional POM, the emission of formaldehyde is reduced by more than 100 times, while maintaining excellent mechanical, thermal and processing properties. Can be used in automotive interiors, personal care product containers, packaging and household appliances.
Ultra-low odor Celstran XLE LFRT (long fiber reinforced thermoplastic): has excellent mechanical properties, thermal properties, UV resistance, appearance and processing properties, and the odor and VOC emissions are lower than similar low odor long fiber reinforced thermoplastics (long glass Fiber reinforced polypropylene) products. It can be used for passenger car interior parts such as dashboard, center console, door bracket and tailgate.
