Celanese Zenite® LCP polymer provides innovative solutions for high-end smartphone camera modules

Shanghai (April 23, 2018)-Global technology and specialty materials company Celanese (NYSE: CE) unveiled its Chinaplas® 2018, exhibiting its Zenite® and Vectra® series Halogen-free liquid crystal polymer (LCP) can be used to make a variety of advanced smart phone and tablet camera module (CCM).

Smartphones are inseparable from our daily lives, and the requirements for the clarity, reliability and efficiency of cameras are becoming more and more stringent. Therefore, camera module manufacturers are looking for ways to improve their products and manufacturing processes to design camera modules that are feature-rich, have higher performance, and consume less power. Zenite® SEA 30N:

· It has stronger fluidity to achieve thin wall and miniaturization, has excellent dimensional stability, can achieve seamless welding and high welding line strength, and can be used for insert molding process;

· Smaller particles, higher toughness and surface peel strength, and anti-static (ESD) characteristics;

· Stable molding conditions can improve production efficiency, good surface properties, and low gas emission.

Zenite® SEA 30B:

· Smaller particles, better toughness and excellent dimensional stability;

· Excellent surface peel strength and high welding wire strength;

· Higher bonding strength, fluidity and welding line strength, high production efficiency.
