Yanfeng Automotive Interiors Co., Ltd. ("Yanfeng") opened a new factory in Serbia on November 28. Yanfeng officials said they hope to recruit up to 800 new employees in the next few years. The purpose of Yanfeng's new plant this time is still to further expand overseas markets, increase competitiveness, and increase overseas production capacity.
Founded in 2015, Yanfeng is one of the largest automotive suppliers in China, focusing on automotive interior parts. The company is headquartered in Shanghai, has approximately 110 manufacturing plants and technology centers in 20 countries, and has global More than 33,000 employees.
The new plant is Yanfeng's first plant in Serbia, covering an area of approximately 18,500 square meters. It mainly produces automotive interior parts and has created approximately 180 new jobs in the region. The plant can accommodate up to 800 employees and the number of employees will increase year by year.
Good infrastructure and skilled workers in the Klagjevac area are key to Yanfeng's choice of this location. In addition, Yanfeng also has overseas factories in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Canada to provide interior parts for BMW, Volkswagen and other brands.
