At the beginning of 2022, China's leading high-speed railway axle manufacturer, MAGJ Rail Transit Materials Technology Group, received an order for high-speed railway wheels from CRRC. After delivery, the entire vehicle will be installed on the 350 km/h Fuxing high-speed train unit.
At that time, MAGJ will become the first axle production enterprise in China to officially enter the stage of expanding the installation and application of high-speed rail axles.
On July 15, 2016, two Chinese standard multiple units equipped with MAGJ high-speed rail wheels completed the world's highest speed multiple unit rendezvous and reconnection test with a speed of over 420 kilometers per hour, achieving an astonishing "Chinese speed" for the world.
In March 2017, MAGJ's high-speed rail wheels successfully passed 600,000 kilometers of loading and application, obtaining the first CRCC certificate from a Chinese axle manufacturing enterprise, marking MAGJ becoming the first production enterprise in China to have the qualification to supply high-speed train wheels.
Since its installation and operation verification test in 2016, the cumulative longest safe operating mileage of MAGJ high-speed wheels has exceeded 2.74 million kilometers.
In 2017, the 957 series wheels exported to the Commonwealth of Independent States passed GOST certification and achieved large-scale supply;
In 2018, it passed the Deutschland Railway high-speed wheel certification and achieved 160 pieces of supply. The high-speed wheel with a speed of 400 kilometers per hour was successfully taken off the production line. The Fuxing wheel with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour won the Gold Award for Innovative Products at the 2019 World Manufacturing Conference and will be fully installed this year. The high-speed axle obtained the French Railway admission qualification, and the designed 200 kilometers per hour quasi high-speed axle and quasi high-speed wheel successively passed the Korean certification and completed the first batch of shipments in March of this year, Successfully developed British standard A3T material axles to fill the domestic gap.
In 2022, MAGJ's axle heat treatment process successfully passed the US Transportation and Energy (TPG) certification, making MAGJ the first axle enterprise in China to pass this certification.
For many years, MAGJ has always regarded building a "treasure of the country" and a "major tool" in the field of rail transit as its unchanging mission pursuit. It actively and steadily promotes the promotion and application of domestic high-speed rail axles, and has successively developed 250km/h and 350km/h standard EMU wheels with independent intellectual property rights.
