BJYN Superconductor Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2000, is a leader in the High Temperature Superconductor (HTS) industry in China, specializing in the R&D, manufacture and sale of HTS wires and related application products.
In December 2001, the construction of China's first 200km/year capacity production line in BJYN was selected the top ten science and technology news of China in 2001. The company has a technical and managerial personnel team with the abroad returnees as the core. BJYN, the national intellectual property advantage enterprises, has applied for 47 core technology patents (31 authorized) for HTS wires manufacture and HTS applications. The HTS wire of BJYN takes the top 2 place in the world, has been sold to South Korea, the United States , Europe and other countries and regions. BJYN has received the second-place award of National S&T Advancement Prize, the first-place award of the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Award, etc, and also is the Beijing Key Laboratory on High Temperature Superconductor Materials and Application Technology. Now BJYN is a holding subsidiary of listed group company.

There are many kinds of products such as high current density wire, insulated wire, strengthened wire , low thermal conductivity wire. The critical current of HTS wire is 130-170A.
Bi-2223 HTS wire is a kind of reliable superconductor with most application records worldwide, which is the core component of superconductor equipment and able to be operated in LN2 with zero resistance and more than 100 times' current carrying capacity, etc., Through our wire technology, we have achieved HTS cables, transformers, motors, fault current limiters, magnets, current lead, energy storage, MAGLEV demo system etc.

2001.05.Fabricated the 500 meters HTS test wire
2001.07. Produced the first 1 km HTS wire with critical current (Ic)=30A
2001.10.Participated in China's first high temperature superconducting cable project (30m,35kV /2kArms, 3- phase).
2001.12. Completed the construction of China’s first 200km/year capacity production line.
2002.10. Received funding from the National Development and Reform Commission of China for the R&D of commercialization technologies of Bi-2223 wires.
Received important National High-tech R&D Program (10th Five-Year 863 Program) contract from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) of China for the R&D of commercialization technologies of Bi-2223 wires.
2004.07. China`s first high temperature superconducting cable (30m,35kV /2kArms, 3-phase) using BJYN HTS wires put into direct operation in the China grid.
Received a first-place award of the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Award for 2004 from Beijing government of China for the research achievement on the R&D of commercialization technologies of Bi-2223 wires.
2005.11.The new 110A HTS wire is launched to the market.
2006.02. Selected as the national Intellectual Property (IP) pilot enterprise by the Stateintellectual property Office of China. It will further enable InnoST to use its intellectual property assets to improve its competitiveness and strategic advantage.
2006.12. Received important National High-tech R&D Program (11th Five-Year 863 Program) contract from the MOST for the R&D of high performance, low cost manufacture technology of Bi-2223 wires.
2007.02. Received a second-place award of National S&T Advancement Prize for 2006 from the national central government of China for the research achievement on Research and Development of High Quality & Long Length Bi-based High Tc Superconducting Wires.
2007.02. Received a first-place award of China's Power Science and Technology Award for 2006 for the research achievement on the R&D of 30m,35kV /2kArms, 3-phase HTS cable. This award is from the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering and China Electric Power Science and Technology Awards Office.
Received a first-place award of Yunnan Science and Technology Awards for 2006 from the government of Yunnan Province of China for the research achievement on the R&D of 30m,35kV /2kArms, 3-phase HTS cable.
