The reporter learned from the Shangluo Development and Reform Commission on April 22 that Shangluo City will plan to build an aviation material industrial park, and the project brief analysis has been completed.
It is understood that the development of China's aviation industry has ushered in the tuyere, and its supporting parts manufacturing and aviation material production will also usher in a period of rapid development, especially since the domestically-made large aircraft C919 successfully achieved its first flight, the enthusiasm for the development of the aviation industry has risen all the way. It is estimated that in the next 20 years, China will need at least 6,000 new passenger and cargo aircraft with a value of up to 945 billion U.S. dollars, which is bound to drive the entire aviation industry chain. As an upstream aviation material industry, it is expected to usher in a period of major opportunities.
During the interview, the reporter learned that Shangluo has rich titanium and magnesium resources for manufacturing aviation alloy materials, and the only proven metal plutonium resource for manufacturing aviation engine blades in the country, and the conditions for developing the aviation materials industry are superior.
The aviation materials industrial park project planned and built by Shangluo plans to construct an annual output of 2,000 tons of carbon fiber composite materials, 5,000 tons of glass fiber reinforced plastic, 5,000 tons of metal titanium, 5,000 tons of titanium aluminum alloy, 2,000 tons of titanium-magnesium alloy, 10,000 tons of aluminum-magnesium alloy, 1 ton of single crystal thorium, 10,000 single crystal thorium aero engine blades and other composite materials and alloy materials. At present, the compilation of brief analysis of 8 sub-projects has been completed.
It is understood that the total investment of the project is 2.16 billion yuan. Shangluo City plans to invite investment in all eight sub-projects including carbon fiber composite materials and glass fiber reinforced plastics. In terms of cooperation methods, the Shangluo City Development and Reform Commission stated that wholly-owned merchants, joint ventures or other investment methods are acceptable.
