In January 2020, the carbon fiber and composite material R&D team of ZKNB Carbon Fiber Technology Group successfully realized the continuous and stable production of PAN-based ultra-high modulus carbon fiber with a tensile strength of 3.70 GPa and a tensile modulus of 610 GPa.
In January 2016 and March 2018, the carbon fiber and composite materials team took the lead in domestically to achieve breakthroughs in key production technology of domestic M55J and domestic M60J high-strength and high-modulus carbon fibers, and key products filled the technological gap in China; at the end of 2019, the team successfully achieved Domestic (M60J grade) high-strength and high-modulus carbon fiber is produced in stable batches.
Subsequently, the team of scientific researchers carried out research on the key preparation technology of higher-grade ultra-high modulus carbon fibers with a tensile modulus of more than 600 GPa. In January 2020, the continuous stability of PAN-based ultra-high modulus carbon fibers with a tensile modulus of up to 610 GPa was achieved. Prepared, the product has passed the test of domestic professional testing institutions.
