China Civil Aircraft Material Industry Development Alliance was established to build civil aircraft material systems covering four major categories: metals, composite materials, functional non-metals, and standard parts

On January 16, the inaugural meeting and the first member congress of the Civil Aircraft Material Industry Development Alliance was held in Shanghai. Wu Guanghui, deputy general manager of COMAC, Yu Wei, deputy director of the Raw Material Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Shen Bo, president of the Shangfei Academy, and Liu Wengong, deputy director of the Shanghai Economic and Information Commission, attended the meeting .

 

The Commercial Aircraft Material Industry Development Alliance was established by COMAC, relying on the Shanghai Flying Academy, in conjunction with civil aircraft material research and development units, design units, inspection and testing units, universities and enterprises. The alliance is oriented to the civil aircraft material industry, is guided by the major national strategy, and is market-oriented. It is a public welfare non-profit organization that effectively combines industry, university, research, and research. It has the characteristics of openness, serviceability, neutrality, and industry foresight. The civil aircraft material system built by the alliance covers four categories: metal, composite materials, functional non-metals, and standard parts.

The meeting reviewed and approved the "Charter for the Development of the Civil Aircraft Material Industry Alliance", and reviewed and voted on the chairman, vice-chairman, and secretary-general units and the chairman, vice-chairmen, members, and secretary-general of the executive committee of the alliance. More than 80 material companies including Chinalco Group, China Sinochem Group, China Baowu Iron and Steel Group and China Building Materials Group attended the meeting.
