Recently, the Shanxi Province Science and Technology Major Project “700 ° C Coal-fired Boiler Ultra-Supercritical (A-USC) Heat-Resistant Alloy Pipe Manufacturing Process and Technology Development” undertaken by  TGJT successfully passed acceptance.

Electricity is the most important energy used in modern society, and it is an important guarantee for the rapid development of industrial and agricultural production and economy and society. Further increasing the steam temperature and pressure of generating units, improving working efficiency, reducing coal consumption, and reducing emissions are important development directions for future thermal power generation, and the transition from supercritical units, ultra-supercritical (600-620 ° C) units to advanced ultra-supercritical ( 700 ℃ or higher) unit development and transformation. Under more severe conditions, ferritic and austenitic heat-resistant steels can no longer meet the requirements, and new nickel-based heat-resistant alloy materials must be used. Therefore, the development and manufacture of 700 ° C coal-fired boiler ultra-supercritical (A-USC) superheater and reheater heat-resistant alloy materials is imminent. It is important to realize the industrialization of key materials for power generation boilers, effectively improve coal resource utilization efficiency, and promote electricity The energy saving and emission reduction of the industry is of great significance.

Through the implementation of this project, Shanxi has fully mastered the production technology of key heat-resistant alloy materials for ultra-supercritical thermal power units, and has formed a number of new technologies and processes with independent intellectual property rights, further enhancing China's 700 ° C ultra-supercritical thermal power units. The research and development and technical reserves of nickel-based heat-resistant alloy boiler tubes have narrowed the gap with foreign countries, enhanced the core competitiveness of the complete set of 700 ° C nickel-based heat-resistant alloy boiler tube technologies, and greatly reduced the construction cost of thermal power units.
