China establishes academician workstation for rare earth permanent magnet servo motors

Relying on Baotou's rich rare earth resources, Academician Gu Guobiao and his team cooperated in building a rare earth permanent magnet servo motor academician workstation in Baotou to carry out scientific and technological cooperation and research, strategic consulting and technical guidance, co-construction of research and development bases and achievement transformation.

It is understood that the workstation focuses on the development of high-power vertical axis and horizontal axis rare earth permanent magnet wind turbines as its main research direction, and is committed to technology research and development and application promotion, promoting the application of rare earth permanent magnet materials in the field of electrical drives and permanent magnet equipment. . The project will combine the existing design schemes to redesign and optimize the electromagnetic scheme, mechanical structure, cooling system and implementation process of the wind turbine to improve its structure and efficiency. After the end of the established research and development goals, the workstation will also combine the geographical environment characteristics of Inner Mongolia and Baotou to formulate more efficient power generation schemes, implement research and development of new generator systems, and contribute scientific and technological strength to the development of servo motors in Inner Mongolia.
