On August 19, China JS issued an announcement saying that JS Chengdu, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, plans to relocate the entire plant and implement the construction of a “250,000-ton glass fiber pool kiln drawing production line” project”.
The announcement stated that in order to seize the opportunity of regional adjustment of Chengdu’s overall development planning in Sichuan Province and the great opportunity of the construction of a national-level free trade pilot zone, to accelerate the construction of intelligent production lines. On April 28, 2018, Jushi Chengdu and Qingbaijiang District of Chengdu The People’s Government has signed the “High-performance Glass Fiber Advanced Manufacturing Base Project Cooperation Agreement”, and Jushi Chengdu plans to relocate the entire plant and implement the “Construction Project of 250,000 Tons Glass Fiber Pool Kiln Wire Drawing Production Line”.
According to the announcement, the total investment of the project is about 3.1304 billion yuan, and a glass fiber kiln drawing production line with an annual output of 120,000 tons and a glass fiber kiln drawing production line with an annual output of 130,000 tons will be constructed, with an annual production capacity of 250,000 tons.
