China high-performance composite structural parts manufacturer mass production of carbon fiber offshore wind turbine blade Hay:D02ZZSD

On May 11, 2020, the first set of carbon fiber composite wind turbine blades jointly developed by China High-Performance Composite Structural Parts manufacturer ZZSD New Material Technology Group and Yuanjing Energy Group was successfully rolled off the production base in Sheyang Carbon fiber offshore wind turbine blades.

The carbon fiber composite material blade is 80 meters long. It is the longest blade type currently cooperated by ZZSD and Yuanjing Energy. Compared with the traditional glass fiber blade, the density is lower and the strength is higher. It is suitable for the current development trend of large-scale and lightweight blades.

The project started trial production in December 2019. The blade type adopts new materials and new processes. At present, the factory has built a production line for automatic unwinding, cutting and chamfering of carbon pultruded plates. In 2021, it will build another world's most advanced carbon pultruded plate unwinding and cutting production line.

The successful commissioning of carbon fiber composite blades is of great significance to ZZSD's continued development of the offshore blade market.
