China leading deformed superalloys, cast superalloy manufacturer invest in the construction of ultra-pure high-performance superalloy material and Large complex thin-wall superalloy structural parts production base Hay:A04JSTN

On June 25th, JSTN Special Alloy Technology Group issued an announcement that the company will invest RMB 556 million to build a new "annual output of 1,000 tons of ultra-pure high-performance superalloy material construction project, an annual output of 3,300 complex thin-walled superalloy structural parts construction project and R&D Center Construction Project".

In recent years, China has issued a series of major policies to support the development of China's advanced metal materials industry. The "New Material Industry Development Guide" issued in 2016 clearly pointed out that the design and manufacture of high-temperature alloys and complex structure blade materials in aerospace equipment materials Technological breakthroughs to meet the needs of aeroengine applications. In terms of safeguard measures, promote the integration of military and civilian development, actively guide qualified enterprises to develop and produce new military materials, and encourage advantageous enterprises to participate in the research and production of military products.

China's aviation industry is developing rapidly, and the demand for superalloys is strong

In the new advanced aero-engines, high-temperature alloys are mainly used in the four hot end parts of the combustion chamber, directors, turbine blades and turbine disks. In addition, it is also used for components such as casing, ring, afterburner and tail nozzle. The amount of high-temperature alloy accounts for more than 40%-60% of the total weight of the engine.

According to the British "World Air Force" report, the number of military aircraft in China reached 3,187 in 2018, lagging behind the United States and Russia, ranking third in the world; the number of military aircraft in China in 2018 increased by 589 compared with 2011, calculated The compound annual growth rate is 2.96%. Based on the basic assumption that the ratio of single-engine and double-engine quantities of existing and newly-added military aircraft is 1:1, taking into account maintenance, backup and other factors, China will add 10,506 new military aviation engines in the next 15 years. The demand for high-temperature alloy raw materials is approximately 26,264 tons.

Due to the relatively weak foundation of China's aviation industry, the current civil aviation engine in China mainly depends on imports. However, with the steady progress of the C919 commercial large aircraft project, the market of high-temperature alloys in the domestic civil aviation field will be further opened. According to the "2017 Civil Aviation Industry Development Statistical Bulletin" published by the Civil Aviation Administration of China, by the end of 2017, the total number of aircraft registered by general aviation enterprises reached 2,297. In the future, China will add 4,913 civil aircrafts, and will add 14,739 engines in the future, adding about 36,848 tons of new superalloys.

Gas turbine enters mass production stage, new opportunities for superalloys

Gas turbines are high-tech core equipment related to national security and national economic development, and belong to high-tech industries with huge market prospects. The technical level of gas turbines is one of the important symbols representing the overall strength of a country's technology and industry.

At present, heavy gas turbines are mainly developed by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI), General Electric (GE), Siemens (Siemens-WH), Alstom (ABB) and other companies. In terms of light gas turbines, Rolls Roy Aircraft (RR), General Electric (GE), Pratt & Whitney (P&W), etc. have developed 3rd generation light gas turbines by aeroengine modification.

In 2017, my country's domestic gas turbines for ships have completed the stage of localization and mass production, and are expected to be widely used in my country's future large frigates, large destroyers and new amphibious landing ships and other surface ships. The localized production of gas turbines will further bring about a substantial increase in the demand for high-temperature alloy materials, and bring new opportunities for the development of high-temperature alloy manufacturers.

JSNT masters the core technology

All along, foreign companies have monopolized the technology and products of ultra-pure high-performance superalloys in the aerospace and nuclear power industries. Tunan has gradually mastered the key core technologies such as ultra-pure melting of high-temperature alloy materials, near-net-shape investment precision casting technology, and high-precision seamless pipe manufacturing, based on the development of high-end superalloy industry. Provide high-temperature alloy products and related services in the field of high-end equipment manufacturing such as ships and energy.

JSNT product structure is mainly composed of three types of casting high-temperature alloy series products, deformation high-temperature alloy series products, special stainless steel series products. At present, JSNT has provided ultra-pure nickel-based superalloys and other important raw materials for the manufacture of high-end equipment for aeroengines and gas turbines. It has provided in-stack construction and driving mechanism materials for the construction of nuclear power plants such as Yangjiang, Tianwan, and Fuqing. Large and complex thin-walled high-temperature alloy structural parts, supporting scientific research for aircrafts and aero engines, producing high-temperature alloys and special stainless steel seamless pipes.
