The WHGW carbon fiber composite material research and development center project is invested and constructed by the WHGW carbon fiber technology group. The project integrates research and development, design, manufacturing and testing. It mainly produces more than 150 carbon fiber composite materials products in the aerospace, rail transportation and other fields, further deepening and CRRC , COMAC and other large-scale central enterprises cooperated to break the foreign monopoly on thermoplastic composite materials, drive the transformation and upgrading of enterprises, and form a complete industrial chain from carbon fiber to composite materials products.
The first phase of the project has been completed and put into trial production. The first batch of AV500 drones designed and developed in cooperation with the China Helicopter Design Institute has been delivered. It is working with CRRC to develop carbon fiber composite materials and other products in the field of rail transportation.
The second phase of the project plans to invest 100 million yuan to produce carbon fiber shells, carbon fiber profiles and other products to further expand the market for military products and civilian products.
