The history of SYZK is in the Casting Superalloy Research Group of the Institute of Superalloys of the Institute of Metals. This project team took the lead in the research of casting superalloys in China in 1956, and successively developed the first cast superalloy for aeroengine turbine blades in China. After the United States, it developed the aerospace casting hollow turbine blades, opened up the research field of casting superalloys in China, and won the first prize of National Science and Technology Progress. Subsequently, it also developed the first hot corrosion resistant casting superalloy and low segregation alloy technology in China. And other new achievements, of which the low segregation alloy technology is considered internationally as one of the most distinctive inventions in the field of China's high-temperature alloys recently, and has won the International Practical Materials Innovation Award. In order to promote the industrialization of low segregation alloy technology, the National Development and Reform Commission listed this project as a national key industrial test project, and passed the national inspection and acceptance in 2004, and was awarded the National Industrial Demonstration Base.
