On June 3, 2020, the first unit (No. 14) on the right bank of Baihetan Power Station developed by HEDJ Electric Technology Group passed the stator core magnetization test at one time. The results of on-site magnetization test show that the unit loss, temperature rise, temperature difference and noise of the stator core have all reached the quality index. With the best test results at present, the first unit on the right bank, as the world's largest million-kilowatt hydro-generator with a stator core size, has fully met the stator off-line conditions. This provided the necessary guarantee for the first units of Baihetan Power Station to be put into operation on time in July 2021.

The stator core of a single unit on the right bank of Baihetan Hydropower Station is composed of more than 360,000 pieces of 0.5 mm thick silicon steel sheets. The total weight of the core after stacking is 698.13 tons, the inner diameter is 16580 mm, the outer diameter is 17800 mm, and the height is 3650. Mm. The stator core magnetization test is an important test to check the quality of the stator core. As one of the key factors, the quality of the stator core is directly related to the final stable operation of the unit. Therefore, as a key process, the stator core loading work is particularly critical.

The first unit on the right bank of the Baihetan Hydropower Station has been hoisted for the first lobe stator base since December 31, 2019. HEDJ has successfully solved the installation and adjustment of the base assembly welding and positioning ribs by drawing on the previous installation experience of the Three Gorges, Xiangjiaba, Xiluodu and other power stations. , Core lamination and other technical problems, and strictly implement the process and related specifications during the installation process to ensure the quality of stator assembly.

After the magnetization test is completed, HEDJ will work with the participating parties to advance the electromechanical installation of the right bank units in an orderly manner. It is expected that the first rotor will be hoisted by the end of September 2020, and the second rotor will be hoisted by the end of November 2020, to ensure that July 2021 The first units were put into operation for power generation.
