On the evening of April 20, NDTB Copper Foil Electronic Material Co., Ltd issued an announcement that the company acquired 100% equity of FJQJ Copper Foil Technology at a total price of 848 million yuan.
NDTB said that the acquisition of 100% equity of FJQJ copper foil is to quickly increase the company's copper foil effective production capacity and quickly expand the company's copper foil market share.
FJQJ copper foil has a high-end electrolytic copper foil production base with an annual output of 20,000 tons.
FJQJ produces high-end lithium-ion copper foil for lithium-ion batteries. The main products include 4.5-micron double-sided light, 6-micron double-sided light, and 8-micron double-sided light-emitting lithium copper foil. The products are mainly used in new energy electric vehicle lithium batteries and 3C Lithium batteries, energy storage batteries and other fields. The company's main customers include well-known domestic lithium battery manufacturers CATL, BYD, AVIC Lithium Battery, Weihong Power and other customers.
Through the above acquisition, BDTB will realize the layout in East China on the basis of the two copper foil production bases in Xining, Qinghai and Huizhou, Guangdong, and further gather closer to major new energy lithium battery companies.
