On November 1, 2021, China's leading Modified PI material manufacturer: HNHH Advanced Materials Technology Corporation and Shanghai Jiaotong University established the MPI Material R&D Center.
In 2016, the MPI high-frequency and high-speed flexible material developed by HNHH's R&D team has entered the pilot stage. The product of this project focuses on the huge market brought about by the 5G era and the situation where upstream materials are monopolized by foreign companies.
In 2018, two production lines have passed the trial operation and are ready for production, and HNHH's MPI products have successfully achieved commercial production. The products are mainly based on MPI high-frequency flexible materials and MPI high-end composite materials. Products such as MPI substrates are in a leading position in the world.
The imported MPI material (DF≦0.0034; DK≦2.8) developed by the company is compared with foreign LCP materials; the main performance is basically the same, the LCP dissipation factor is better, but the cost is high, the investment is heavy, and the large-scale industrialization is complicated. The yield rate is easier to control, cost-effective, low investment, and easy to large-scale industrialization.
