The forging ring adopts the construction forming and integral rolling technology, and there is no welding seam on its circumference of nearly 50 meters, and it is integrally forged and formed. This technology not only greatly reduces the consumption of energy and materials in the manufacturing process and realizes green forging, but also provides a better solution for the homogeneous manufacturing of super large forgings in the future.
Among these 4 super large forging rings, the largest one has a blanking weight of 250 tons. When manufacturing, a steel ring with an outer diameter of only 7.5 meters needs to be quickly rolled and stretched to 16 meters within 30 minutes without deformation. is a large ellipse. Due to the high thermal strength and deformation resistance of the austenitic stainless steel used in the components, the engineering challenges are enormous and represent the highest manufacturing difficulty for ring forgings.
Since 2018, SDYL has successfully produced 16 large-diameter seamless forged rings with a diameter of more than 15 meters, and the overall technology has reached the world's leading level. .
