On August 28, the Yunnan Provincial Precious Metals New Materials Industrial Park, jointly constructed by the Kunming High-tech Zone Management Committee and the Yunnan Provincial Precious Metals Group, held a groundbreaking ceremony in Majinpu. The innovative new model of government-enterprise cooperation will provide high-precision precious metal new material products and integrated services for the development of national defense military industries and emerging industries.

The precious metal new material industrial park of Yunnan Province covers an area of about 505 acres and the total investment is expected to be 2.25 billion yuan. It will be constructed in two phases. After the completion of the construction, the park's comprehensive building, research and development building, testing building, and product incubation center will be formed. An industrial cluster consisting mainly of precious metal precursor materials and new electronic information materials. The first phase of the project that will start now includes land for the precious metal precursor materials project, the core area of the industrial park and the talent exchange center. It is planned to complete the construction of the park in 5 years.
The precious metal material park first started the "industrialization of precious metal catalytic precursor materials" project, which mainly includes two types of precious metal inorganic precursor materials and precious metal organic precursor materials. After completion, it will have dozens of precious metal precursor production lines, becoming a domestic first-class and international advanced precious metal precursor material industry base, enabling the production process, technical equipment of precious metal precursor materials to reach the world advanced level, and greatly enhance China's independent intellectual property rights. The company's competitiveness has formed a production capacity of 300 tons of precious metal precursor new materials with an annual sales income of 3 billion yuan.
In the construction of the precursor material industrialization project, the independent project "Industrialization of precious metal industry catalysts", "Key technologies and engineering applications for the preparation of new precious metal electronic packaging materials", "Industrialization of precious metal powders and electronic pastes" and the introduction of other new materials A number of projects, such as cooperative projects, will also enter preliminary preparations.
