The international technology group ANDRITZ has received an order from a subsidiary of SDWQ Aluminum Group to provide a melting and holding furnace room for its aluminum alloy deep processing project. The new furnace unit provided by ANDRITZ will use the largest furnace in China, including two 115-ton dome furnaces and two 125-ton inclined furnaces. The project is scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2022.
In 2012, ANDRITZ also provided four casting units for SDWQ's foundry, which was the largest high-end aluminum plate and strip steel foundry in China at the time. The furnace provided by ANDRITZ is the largest aluminum furnace ever supplied to China.
