Recently, China HTKJ Special Industrial Valve Technology Group and China Flexible Packaging Group successfully signed a contract with a contract value of 158 million yuan. HTKJ will provide double wedge gate valves and plunger valves for its propane dehydrogenation project.
The double wedge gate valve is the core process valve of the MTO and propane dehydrogenation unit, which plays a vital role in ensuring the continuous operation of the unit. Its application environment is coupled with various working conditions such as high temperature, high corrosion, high abrasion and extremely high frequency of action. The development is very difficult.
Through nearly 10 years of technological development, HTKJ finally broke the monopoly for the first time in 2019 based on the experience of MTO device application, and realized the application of the product in the more demanding propane dehydrogenation device.
Propane dehydrogenation unit has mature technology, high conversion rate and strong market competitiveness. Its main product, propylene, is expected to exceed 46.5 million tons in China in 2025, and the market scale is considerable.
The signing of the contract signifies that HTKJ has established the first set of double wedge gate valves in the country’s largest propane dehydrogenation unit, further consolidating product performance accumulation, expanding market influence, and laying a solid foundation for the overall market promotion of this product .
