ESP refers to the full headless ultra-thin strip steel production technology, which is currently the world's most advanced rolling technology. It is also known as the "third steel industry technology revolution" after converter steelmaking and continuous casting.

The steel industry is the basic industry of all industrialized countries in the world. Per capita steel production is an important indicator of a country's economic strength. In the first half of 2013, domestic steel output hit a record high. However, with the substantial release of production capacity, the market supply and demand fell into an imbalance, and the profitability of all domestic steel mills fell month by month. Nippon Steel also faced such an embarrassing situation, but under tremendous pressure, they immediately reduced the capacity of 4 million tons of rebar with weak competitiveness, and invested 33 billion yuan to build 4 ESP production lines. Although the ESP technology at that time was advanced, it was still in the experimental stage, and a lot of practice was needed to improve the technology.

Right now is the first ESP production line of RZGT Steel. These once-tempered steel giants have now been domesticated by ESP engineer Wu Shengping. Just wait for his order and any molten steel will be reborn here. "Machines, like humans, are also" adverse to soil and water. "There are technical problems and unexpected accidents. Foreign experts can't solve all problems. Many times, we rely on our own actual exploration.

According to general smelting technology, molten steel becomes a steel coil, which requires a single slab, which is then re-injected multiple times, repeatedly heated for repeated finishing rolling, and rolling is a relatively separate process. ESP is a perfect connection between continuous casting and steel rolling. In this process, there is no need to cut, repeated movement and heating, and full use of the slab's own thermal energy, so that the slab can be continuously rolled without changing lines.

Of course, this requires a high-speed operation of the production line, and the use of electromagnetic induction heating in the uninterrupted process of rough rolling, waste pushing and finishing rolling, all of which require intelligent computer monitoring. Another major advantage of ESP production line is headless rolling. After the parameters are preset, as long as the molten steel is continuously supplied, the production line can continue to produce continuously.

In just 7 minutes, the molten steel was turned into a steel coil on the ESP production line. It takes more than three hours for the molten steel in another traditional production line to wait for them to become qualified steel coils.

Compared with traditional hot rolling, not only is time savings. Under the same standard conditions, the ESP production line can save energy by 50% to 70%, and its water consumption has been reduced by 70% to 80%. The production line of traditional technology requires more than 1,000 Meter length, ESP production line is only 193 meters. In addition, only steel coils with a thickness of less than 1.2 millimeters can achieve stable batch production, and the thinnest can produce 0.6 millimeters. At present, only Nippon Steel can do this.

In three years, ESP technology has been perfectly transformed in RZGT Steel. It also relies on ESP technology to complete the conversion of new and old kinetic energy and industrial upgrades.
