The 8th International Composite Materials Technology Summit (ISCT8) and the 4th International Composite Materials Industry Innovation Achievement Technology Exhibition (ICIE4) hosted by the China Composite Materials Society are the highest-end, cutting-edge and most advanced academic summits of the society. It will be held in Dongguan, Guangdong from November 5-7, 2020 (registration on the 4th). This summit has been selected into the China Association for Science and Technology Brand Academic Conference!
Faced with the new demands, new conditions, and new changes in the composite materials market, this summit built a cooperation platform integrating "production, politics, research, and application" around the "new concepts, new trends, and new trends" of the composite materials industry. Through resource collaboration, Accurately grasp the latest developments in the world's composite materials in cutting-edge technology research and innovative technology applications, promote cooperation and exchanges of key technologies at home and abroad, guide accelerated breakthroughs in composite materials-related technologies, and achieve high-quality development in the composite materials industry.

1) Academician Du Shanyi: Honorary Chairman of the Chinese Society of Composite Materials, Professor of Harbin Institute of Technology and China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, Director of the Academic Committee of Harbin Institute of Technology, Dean of the School of Engineering Sciences of the University of Science and Technology of China, Member of the National Commercial Aircraft Advisory Group, has long been engaged in aircraft structure Teaching and scientific research of mechanics and composite materials. Elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 1999.
2) Chen Xiangbao Academician: Chairman of the China Society of Composite Materials, Vice President of the Beijing Institute of Aeronautical Materials of China Aviation Development, and concurrently director of the National Defense Key Laboratory of Advanced Composite Materials. He has long been engaged in the research of advanced resin-based structural composite materials and structure/function integrated composite materials. Developed high temperature resistant high toughness composite materials, low temperature curing high performance composite materials. In 2011, he was elected an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
3) Fang Daining Academician: Vice Chairman of China Society of Composite Materials, currently Honorary President of Shenzhen-Beijing Institute of Technology-Moscow University, Chairman of Academic Committee of Beijing Institute of Technology, Honorary Dean and Chief Scientist of Beijing Institute of Advanced Structure Technology. Mainly engaged in the study of mechanical theory, calculation and experimental methods of advanced materials and structures under the coupling action of force, electromagnetic and heat. Elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2013.
4) Academician Yu Jianyong: Vice Chairman of the Chinese Society of Composite Materials, currently Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Donghua University, has long been engaged in scientific research and teaching in the field of textile materials, in the development of natural fiber resources, innovative applications of chemical fibers, new structural yarns and functions Carry out a series of research work in textile materials and other aspects. Elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2013.
5) Hou Xiao Academician: Vice Chairman of China Society for Composite Materials, currently member of the Standing Committee of the Science and Technology Committee of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, and Dean of the School of Astronautics, Beijing Institute of Technology. For many years, he has been engaged in solid rocket motor design and related composite material application research, with rich theoretical and practical experience. Elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2015.
6) Li Hejun Academician: Honorary member of the Chinese Society of Composite Materials, currently a professor of Northwestern Polytechnical University, deputy director of the academic committee of the university, and head of the innovative research group of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Has long been engaged in the research of carbon fiber reinforced composite materials. In 2019, he was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and an academician of the Asia-Pacific Academy of Materials Science.
7) Academician Wang Yuzhong: Consultant of the Nanocomposite Subcommittee of the Chinese Society of Composite Materials, currently a professor at Sichuan University, National and Local Joint Engineering Laboratory for Environmentally Friendly Polymer Materials, National and Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Development and Application of New Fireproof and Flame Retardant Materials, and Ministry of Education Environment Director of Friendly Polymer Materials Engineering Research Center. Mainly engaged in the functionalization and high performance of polymer materials and the research and development of environmentally friendly polymer materials. Elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2015.
8) Gong Shengkai Academician: Consultant of the Surface and Film Professional Committee of China Composite Materials Society, professor and doctoral supervisor of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Engaged in research work on intermetallic compound-based single crystal alloys, single crystal blades and thermal barrier coating materials technology and equipment for aero-engine high-pressure turbine blades. Elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2019.
9) Zhang Lianlian Academician: Consultant of the Mineral Composites Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Composite Materials. He is currently the chief professor and doctoral supervisor of Wuhan University of Technology, and the director of the Key Laboratory of Special Functional Materials Technology of the Ministry of Education. Mainly engaged in advanced composite materials (multiphase ceramics, functionally graded materials), soft magnetic alloy materials and thin film materials related fields. He was elected an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2017 and an academician of the Asia Pacific Academy of Materials Science in 2019.
10) Academician Huang Wei: Advisor of the Superfine Fiber Materials Branch of the Chinese Society of Composite Materials, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Northwestern Polytechnical University, Executive Vice President, Chairman of the Academic Committee, engaged in polymer light-emitting diode display research and has long been active in the field of organic optoelectronics. He was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2011, as a foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences in 2016, and as an academician of the Asia Pacific Academy of Materials Science in 2017.
11) Zhu Meifang Academician: Consultant of the Superfine Fiber Materials Branch of the Chinese Society of Composite Materials, currently dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Donghua University, and director of the State Key Laboratory of Fiber Material Modification. He has been engaged in the research of functionalization, comfort and intelligence of fiber materials for a long time, and has achieved systematic and innovative results. In 2019, he was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and an academician of the Asia-Pacific Academy of Materials Science.
12) Teng Jinguang Academician: Deputy Director of Civil Engineering Branch of China Composite Materials Society, President of Hong Kong Polytechnic University, mainly engaged in the research of civil engineering composite material structure and steel structure. Elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2017.
13) Yue Qingrui Academician: Deputy Director of the Civil Engineering Branch of China Composite Materials Society, currently Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman and Chief Engineer of China Metallurgical Construction Research Institute Co., Ltd. It opened up a new technical field and direction for the application of my country's high-performance fiber-reinforced composite materials in civil engineering. In 2017, he was elected an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
14) Dong Shaoming Academician: currently a researcher at the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, director of the Center for Structural Ceramics and Composites Engineering, and concurrently a chairman of the Space Materials Professional Committee of the Space Science Committee. Engaged in the research and development of advanced structural ceramics and composite materials design and preparation science, material physical chemistry, surface technology, etc. He was elected as an academician of the World Academy of Ceramics in 2013 and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2019.
15) Shan Zhongde Academician: currently serves as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Engaged in the research of digital mechanical equipment and advanced forming manufacturing technology, and made important contributions in the aspects of automatic dyeing digital manufacturing technology and equipment, and digital moldless casting compound forming technology and equipment. Elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2019.
16) Jia Zhenyuan Academician: Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Dalian University of Technology. An expert in the field of mechanical engineering, he has long been committed to the research on the theory, technology and equipment of controllable machining of high-end equipment and high-performance parts. Elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2019.
17) Wu Feng Academician: Deputy Chairman of the Academic Committee of Beijing Institute of Technology, Dean of Qiushi Academy, Chief Professor of Energy and Environmental Materials. Has long been engaged in the research and development of new secondary batteries and related energy materials. In 2017, he was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and an academician of the Asia-Pacific Academy of Materials Science.
18) Yu Shuhong Academician: Professor of the School of Chemistry and Materials Science, University of Science and Technology of China, Executive Director of the Nanomaterials and Chemistry Research Department of Hefei National Laboratory of Microscale Physical Sciences. Has long been engaged in the research of biomimetic synthesis and functionalization of inorganic materials. Elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry in 2013. Elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2019.
19) Zhou Ji Academician: Currently a professor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Tsinghua University. He has been engaged in the research of information functional materials for a long time, which has promoted the formation and development of domestic chip inductors and passive integration industries; proposed the idea of constructing new functional materials through the fusion of metamaterials and natural materials, and pioneered the development of non-metal based supernormal New materials such as electromagnetic medium. He was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2017 and an academician of the Asia Pacific Academy of Materials Science in 2019.
