The 12-micron in-line silicon-coated release film is one of the important raw materials for laminated lithium batteries. It has high technical content, high difficulty coefficient, good temperature resistance and high cleanliness, and is mainly used to protect battery materials.
Relying on technology and scale advantages, the 12-micron online silicon-coated release film produced by SDKH is mainly supplied to LG's factories in South Korea, Poland and Nanjing, China. It is LG's main supplier and currently has an average monthly supply of 8 million square meters.
According to data recently released by South Korean research institute SNE Research, in May this year, LG Energy ranked first in the world's power battery installed capacity. With the rapid expansion of the global new energy vehicle market, the demand for the entire industry chain of lithium batteries has increased rapidly. LG is building and commissioning new factories in the United States, India and other places. It is expected that the demand for 12-micron in-line silicon-coated release films will increase significantly in the next 2-3 years.
